Designed for brands with a specific challenge that needs senior development leadership for a defined period rather than ongoing support.

FRACTIONAL CHIEF DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Ongoing senior development leadership at the cadence your brand needs. Site selection, lease and LOI negotiation, capital partner orchestration, underwriting standards, construction oversight, and operations handoff. Operating at the accountability of a full-time CDO, scoped to where the brand actually needs it.

Monthly retainer for ongoing strategic input. Real estate decisions, capital structure questions, expansion strategy, team development. For brands that have a CDO in seat but want a senior thought partner on the decisions that shape the next chapter.

For the past 15 years, I've run development for restaurant brands moving from regional to national portfolios. I led the function at &pizza through 25-to-120 unit growth, at Hart House through the build-out of 80+ locations in under two years, and at Chipotle during one of the company's biggest expansion periods. Across roles at Chamberlain Advisory, CHAGEE, Hart House, &pizza, Chipotle, and CBRE, I've personally led 250+ restaurant openings and $40M+ in development budgets.

I started Chamberlain Advisory because the work that matters most for an emerging restaurant brand is also the work most often outsourced or under-resourced. The founders I'm built for reach out at the same moment: they've raised, they're committed to a plan, and the development function isn't yet big enough to deliver it.
